📡 FCC ULS Data Source

License data is retrieved in real time from the FCC Universal Licensing System (ULS) public API. This data is publicly available and provided by the FCC. LinkZoneTools LLC does not own, control, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of FCC ULS data. FCC database updates typically lag real-world licensing activity by 24–72 hours.

⚠ Critical Limitation — License Address ≠ Antenna Location

FCC license registrations show the licensee's address, which is typically their business office or headquarters — NOT the actual antenna location. A license registered in Dallas may have antennas hundreds of miles away. Markers on the map show the registration address only. Do not use this tool to assess actual interference risk at a specific antenna location without verifying the physical antenna locations through the FCC ULS license record directly.

📊 Data Completeness

The FCC ULS API may not return all licenses in a geographic area. Results are limited by API query parameters and may be filtered to a maximum number of results. E-Band (80 GHz) lightly-licensed links use a different license type (NN) and may appear less frequently. Always verify frequency coordination requirements with a licensed frequency coordinator before filing.

⚖ No Warranty — Not a Frequency Coordination Tool

⚠ Important limitations:
• Markers = license registration address, NOT antenna location
• FCC ULS data may be 24-72 hours behind actual filings
• Results limited to 100 records per band per query
• E-Band (80 GHz) lightly licensed links may not appear in all searches
• Always file frequency coordination through a licensed coordinator
• Click any marker for license details and FCC ULS link

⚠ License data accuracy disclaimer: FCC ULS records are self-reported by licensees and may contain errors including incorrect addresses, outdated contact information, expired licenses that have not been removed, or frequencies that are no longer in active use. LinkZoneTools LLC makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or currency of FCC ULS data as retrieved through this tool. Always verify license information directly at FCC ULS ↗ before making frequency coordination decisions.
